I am an artist, performer, designer, maker and personal coach for creatives.
I have a BA from Alfred University and The Evergreen State College. I studied social science (psychology, sociology, anthropology), as well as art and design, specifically - film, photography, printmaking, performance art, metal/wood/glass sculpture, and fine metal work.
From 1988-1990 I attended the School of Art and Design at Alfred University in NY.
In 1990 I left school after a summer road trip found me madly in love with the desert. I ended up bouncing between Albuquerque NM and New Orleans LA for the next 8 years working as a bartender, glass slinger, fine metals production assistant, seamstress and vintage clothier.
In 1998 I moved to Olympia WA to finish my art degree. From 2000-2003, I was the shop tech for the Fine Metals studio at Evergreen and ran a music/art/film venue and speakeasy under the name Hi-Lo in a former boat-building warehouse downtown.
In 2003 I moved to Portland OR and in 2004, started a successful accessories line called SNAP design.
In 2010, I rebranded with xobruno leather goods, designing and producing this line which brings me to the present and my current coaching practice.
For 5 years I worked with young adults living in either a residential treatment facility or runaway shelter who struggled with addiction and mental heath issues.
I also have experience volunteering weekly with elders in my community.
I have mentored several individuals in entrepreneurship, both with start-up and existing businesses, specifically helping with time management, goal setting and accountability practices.
I have a CPD in Life Coaching and Health & Wellness Coaching, completed a year long intensive Self Coaching program through The Life Coach School and am currently getting my PCC (Profession Coach Certification) through Coach Training EDU in Portland OR - credentialed by the ICF (International Coaching Federation) which requires 125+ hours of training and 500+ hours of one-on-one coaching experience.
